We currently have an opening for a Electrical Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for complex engineering assignments with wide latitude for action and decision-making. Performs research, design, development, and testing of electrical components and systems. Specifies electrical design parameters and tolerancing on drawings. Uses CAD tools, mathematical modeling, and complex analysis techniques in the design of systems. Interfaces with other disciplines as necessary to design product. Also responsible for the general manufacturability of the design using at least basic knowledge of manufacturing processes. Participates in a team environment using concurrent engineering practices. Also participates in proposal activity as required. This position typically requires a BSEE.

Typically, senior level engineers can assume the role of Project Engineer for a given program(s), depending on the program. The Project Engineer plans, organizes, and performs complex engineering tasks involved with programs. Typically directs the engineering team with respect to technical issues and is responsible for managing and controlling applicable non-recurring expense budgets for programs. Also interfaces with Program Management and the customer in the resolution of technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a BSEE and be skilled in research, design, development, and testing of electrical components, circuit card assemblies, and systems. Must have experience writing or reviewing test specifications, performing hardware verification, and failure analysis. Must have basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and be a team player.

Prefer someone with Commercial avionics experience and system level requirements development.
