We currently have an opening for a Quality Auditor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for surveillance of Korry business operations and compliance to the Federal Aviation Administration FAA, Aerospace Standard Quality Management Systems AS9100 quality system requirements and Customer Contracts. Perform gap analysis of business practices to regulatory, contact, and customer requirements. Maintain the AS9100 Internal Audit process ensuring that the planned arrangements include consideration of risk, status and importance. This position will require the person to have AS9100 knowledge, excellent auditing skills, use consistent judgment and exercise discretion when analyzing and interpreting compliance and distinguishing risk. Use a common sense approach. Risk assessment shall include investigation of the facts and resolve matters of significance on behalf of management. This position will be responsible for assuring the appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risk and prevent escapes. Responsible for providing thorough documented evidence of system conformance or non –conformance in audit reports, records and corrective actions. Will create and update current audit tools and techniques such as check lists, value stream maps, root cause corrective action, trend evaluations, and gap analysis. Provide continuous improvement focus and ensure the audit process adequately evaluates internal practices to ensure compliance, control and oversight.  Works with all quality system users, business process owners and co-workers to implement and support positive change through system surveillance.  Key results will be reported to management providing accurate facts of the quality management system effectiveness and the overall organizational compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional training/certification in quality audits by ASQ and/or a recognized AAQG RMC accredited Governing Board

• 4 years experience in a compliance role

PREFERRED:

• 4 or more years of aerospace and defense quality experience

• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and AS9100 Aerospace Quality management System

• Quality Engineering or Operational Excellence / Quality Management ASQ Certified

• ISO 9000 – AS9100 Training and experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
