We currently have an opening for a Quality Engineering Aide **FAA Covered**.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspection of complex assemblies and systems for conformance to drawing and quality standards.
- Performs visual, dimensional, electrical, functional, and optical inspections per documented inspection instructions.
- Know and experience with all electrical, mechanical, and lighting inspection measurement equipment to measure product performance.
- Works from Engineering or Quality drawings, specifications, standards, test procedures, and verbal instructions to determine product or procedure acceptance.
- Will update, maintain, train, and improve various Quality or Assembly Engineering documents.
- Will be responsible for assuring that build and inspection equipment that is calibrated and qualified.
- Will perform Teardown Reports, Failure Analysis, First Article Reports and Corrective Actions for new production and returns.
- Will perform detailed process and product audits for compliance to system and specification requirements.
- Must have basic computer skills and familiarity with Word, Access, and Excel. Crystal report knowledge is preferred.
- May assist Quality Engineers or Assembly Supervisors with design, inspection, and building of inspection tools and test equipment and/or creation of work standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience with a degree OR 8 years of experience without a degree.
