We currently have an opening for a Electrical Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A hands-on principal engineer is required for advanced technology programs. The main responsibility is to lead the electrical and systems engineering effort for new designs and mentor junior engineers during the design and development process.
- Designs and codes software features
- Technical lead and contributor to the design manufacture and test of advanced airborne or ground vehicle display systems
- Manage technical risks on programs and provide guidance and direction regarding major engineering challenges
- Design, breadboarding, testing and modeling electro-optical products
- Develop system and subsystem architecture
- Responsible for advanced research and development efforts within a design group
- Represent engineering to management and external customers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Project leader in resolution of complex, technical engineering issues
- Expert in electrical engineering
- In depth understanding of display technology including fluorescent and LED backlighting
- Experience in taking products from concept to production
- Familiarity with both commercial and military specifications and standards related to design and testing of military or commercial products
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years experience in the design, manufacture and test of electro-optical systems, preferably avionics
- Minimum 10 years in circuit design and simulation
- Previous experience with standard laboratory equipment
PREFERRED:
- A Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working in the avionics.
