We currently have an opening for a Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs semi-routine and/or complex activities for the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods. Determines and develops the method, operations sequence, equipment, layout and tooling for the fabrication of parts, finishing and assembly, components, subassemblies or final products. Develops manufacturing guides, procedures and illustrations. Assists in the determination of causes of rejected parts and their disposition. Plans and improves production methods including production flow, tooling, manufacturing methods, and production equipment. Estimates manufacturing costs and determines time standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Engineering
• 5 years of manufacturing engineer experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with TPS and LEAN Manufacturing
• Familiarity with aerospace materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, thermoplastics, and rubber gaskets.
• Experience with the following processes: CNC milling, screw machine, punch press, forming, tumbling, laser cutting, molding, and painting.

PREFERRED:

• Aerospace and defense sector experience.
