We currently have an opening for a Quality Engineer **FAA Covered**.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Korry is looking for a talented quality engineer that will perform complex tasks to develop, apply and maintain quality requirements for processing electro-mechanical components.  While duties may include some involvement or understanding of final-level assemblies, functions are primarily focused on fabricated parts.  Under limited supervision, designs and implements methods, plans and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products to ensure the necessary product performance criteria are met.  Knowledge of SPC is essential.  Evaluates process capabilities and determines effectiveness and appropriateness of measurement data gathering to maximize efficiency of inspection.  Recommends corrective action as appropriate for procedural, product, or process deficiencies.  Provides input for returned products as required, and recommends corrective action.  Interfaces with customers as required on technical/quality issues. May participate in qualification efforts to resolve test failures involving fabricated parts.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A BS degree in an engineering discipline
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Five years quality engineering experience

PREFERRED:

• ASQ CQE preferred.
• Previous experience in ISO9001/AS9100.
• An understanding of lean manufacturing techniques, team problem solving, risk analysis, and FAA regulatory requirements
