Korry Electronics, a subsidiary of Esterline, is the internationally recognized leader in the design and manufacture of electro-optical display products, subsystems and discrete components for the aerospace and defense industries. We are a cutting-edge, industry pacesetter in many technologies (such as Night Vision and LED) that drive advances in critical applications for man-machine interfaces.

We currently have an opening for a Electrical Engineer.

OVERVIEW:

This is great opportunity to join Korry’s Engineered Components group that is responsible for supplying switch and control panel assemblies to a broad range of commercial and military aircraft. The work is fast paced and varied with design content quickly making its way into most of the world’s best known cockpits.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self motivated individual who can quickly become a key member of our multi-disciplined development team. Design activities will include fast-paced, full-cycle, formal development of high performance electrical content on both new and sustaining programs. The designer will be in direct contact with customers to help derive requirements and give technical presentations as required. The candidate will also sometimes take on the project engineering role, moving well beyond the traditional electrical engineering role.

The core design content will include a combination of analog linear, switching power and embedded microprocessor circuits. The primary purpose of these designs will be to interface switches and high performance LEDs to the rugged avionics electrical environment. A detailed, thorough and accurate design ethic will be essential.

Research, design, development, documentation and testing of electrical components and systems.

Using CAD tools, mathematical modeling, and complex analysis techniques in the design of systems.

Interfacing with other disciplines as necessary to design product.

General manufacturability of the design using knowledge of manufacturing processes.
